Chapter 1: Rebekah's birthday
It was Rebekah's birthday and Cynthia was on the the phone inviting
Daffodil and Petunia over, Ruth was baking a cake,and the Blacknight
was out buying a present. Rebekah was reading a book, when the guest arrived everybody played birthday games then they had strawberry cake with banana Ice cream,after they cleared the table and washed the dishes it was time for presents Daffodil gave her a dancing doll and a collection of books called Animal Inn petunia gave her a pot of flowers and some perfume. Ruth gave her a chocolate strawberry bar and a book a book about edible plants Her mother (Cynthia) gave her some beautiful clothes. Her father (Black knight)
gave her something BIG it was a …... scooter! Rebekah loved scooters
it was her favorite present and she rode it every day.
Chapter 2: The Surprise
One day when Rebekah was riding her scooter around town she saw Daffodil and Petunia talking excitedly. So she parked her scooter and went to find out what they were so excited about they said that it was a secret and that they had to go home. When Rebekah got home she asked “where is Mom”?
“She Is no here, but don't worry Grandma is coming to take care of us soon” answered Dad
“Where is she Dad”?asked Ruth
“That is a surprise, Oh and Grandma is here, why don't you help her unpack. Said Dad.
“Okay” Said Ruth and Rebekah at the same time. They quickly rushed up stairs and help Grandma unpack the they read some books then went to bed.
The next day Dad went to town Rebekah had wanted to go with him but he said “Some other time”
So Rebekah and Ruth went to play with Petunia and Daffodil in the woods while Grandma made some stew and cookies. Dad got home at lunch time he was very tired.
“You must have had a long day” said Grandma
“Yes I did” said Dad “ Ruth, Rebekah, I have a surprise for you . It is a baby brother, your mom just had a healthy baby boy” announced Dad.
The next day Ruth,Rebekah and Grandma scrambled up the stairs at the hospital to room 119, Grandma knocked on the door softly Dad opened the door. “ How is little aaah What is his name”? Asked Ruth
“Ronny just so all of our childrens names start with R” answered Cynthia sleepily.
Chapter 3:A visit to the Jungle
It was spring in horseville and all of the ponies were playing in the lake, but the knights family they were in planning a trip to go on a trip to the jungle with the king and his family, and the temperature was just right. The royal family were going because the king need a rest.
Soon they were on there way, on the way there they saw some dolphins. When they got there they were very exhausted so rested for a few minutes then they got some big leave to make a fort to sleep In while they were collecting the leaves they heard some strange noises the Blacknight said that they were only frogs croaking, which reminded Ruth of the story of the frog prince. The next morning they ate some Jungle bananas and pineapple, then they went foraging for something to drink and they found a coffee bean plant everyone had some coffee, and boy saw it good! Little Ronny was old enough to have a little bit. Petunia was watching the fly trap carefully and wishing that she could take it home. Rebekah was interested in a large stinky flower that attracted fly with its smell and then swallowed them whole. A month passed and then it was time to go home, they packed and then hurried to the docks then the king remembered some very important papers and had to go back and get them. By they got back to the dock the boat was gone so they had to wait till the next boat came in next month.
Chapter 4:The Adventure
back at their hut all frustrated and tired. they drank coconut milk for a midnight snack and soon fell fast asleep. In the morning they all didn't.
Really have anything in mind to do but finally Ruth suggested playing tag and Petunia was it. They wander so far away from the hut that they decided to spend the night there so they gave a note to a friendly monkey and told him were the hut was. The next morning they tried to find there way back, but they got lost they found some apples,grapes and berries, and they also found a Zebra called stripes who lead them to a watering hole were they had a nice cool drink. When they finished
stripes heard her mother calling her so she went home. Then Petunia and Ronny started to look again for a way to get home while Daffodil,Ruth, and Rebekah had a picnic. When Petunia and Ronny came back they said that they had found a good path that lead back to their hut and had already eaten. So Ruth,Rebekah, And Daffodil finished there picnic. After the picnic they packed up and headed home
Rebekah was looking forward to riding her scooter and seeing everyone back at home.
Chapter 5:Home Again
When they got home there was a Huge welcome home party at the castle the whole town was there they had all brought small gifts mostly statues and signs that said welcome home. When everybody was settled they had some cake and Ice cream there were lots of children there and Ruth got a stomachache from eating to much cake and Ice cream. Then everybody started to leave after a lot of,good bye,see you soon,and glad to have you back. The castle was a mess so they called some maids to come and get the room shipeshape. Then the two families parted and went to there own homes. Rebekah was very glad th be home and she drove her scooter several miles and redecorated her whole room and then played Frisbee with Ruth,Ronny and there dog Jenny.
Chapter 6:Pepper
It was a a very sunny day at the palace jenny was sitting under a apple tree bored. But the princesses were out to town shopping for shoes finally petunia found some and quickly got them nailed on. happily they skipped to the bakery smelling the fresh smell of bread .then petunia bumped into something (bump) excuse me. may I help you ?what kind of bread would you like ? “
“raisin bread Mr. aaah I forgot to ask you, what you name is”
“Sir Knight” he answered
“ Oh yes I remember you.” said Petunia
“Well here is you raisin bread” said Sir knight.
On her way out She saw Daffodil in the animal shelter, so she went to see what she was doing there . Daffodil said that jenny was lonely,
“ I think that you are right” said Petunia.
They found a very beautiful dog it was a male and they thought that it was perfect, but when they found out what they price was they knew that he was to expensive. They asked Queen Esther about but she also said that he was to expensive. When they got to the door they saw Ruth,Rebekah, and Sir Knight, “Sir Knight is going to buy Pepper” said Rebekah excitedly “ But he is to expensive” said Petunia,
but after talking for a little while they found out that they were talk about to different dogs. Pepper was also a very beautiful and a male so jenny is not lonely any more. “Thank you Sir Knight” said Rebekah
Chapter 7:A Rainy Day
It was a very rainy day in horseville most horses were watching movies
even the royal families they were in the family room that was filled with lazy boys ( a recliner), popcorn and watching a movie on there large TV screen the movie was called Andy Griffith. When the movie was over everyone went to the window to see if the rain had stopped.
Rebekah got on her rain boots and raincoat then all of the children (except for Ronny)went outside to play in the puddles, and the parents
stood under an umbrella watching the children play. Then Petunia,Daffodil,Ruth, and Rebekah swam in there overflowed swimming hole for an hour then they were called in to eat.
For Lunch they had Pizza, after pizza coconuts which was from there trip to the jungle then the two families depart and Arthur's family watched the sun slowly climb down the hill. That night they had sweet dreams and did not let the bed bugs bite.
Chapter 8:Camping
Cynthia was as busy as ever going all over, dusting,moping,scrubbing,
ect... So the Black Knight suggested that the girls go camping. But they did not think that it was such a good idea,since Ronny was young and the Black Knight was Queens body guard. The Blacknight said that he would ask Sir Knight to guard the King and Queen, and
“Okay we will go”Said Ruth. Soon the news was out. Petunia and Daffodil were saying goodbye. The parents called them because it was time to go. Finally they were on there way. “were are we going”? Asked Ruth as she opened a book about camping “We are going to the falls” said Blacknight. “It's so nice I have this book of edible plants”said Rebekah “yeah, we can use it to find food in the woods”said Blacknight, “Just what I was thinking of” said Rebekah. When they arrived Cynthia in to her good ol camping clothes lots of horses commented on her clothes. After they had found a good place to camp they had lunch, after lunch they went on a hike Ruth hoped to see a bear,but Rebekah did not at all. They saw a a few deer and rabbits. Rebekah tried to catch one but it was to fast. Ronny was cooing at a big fuzzy caterpillar while Ruth and Rebekah were looking at a banana
slug. Soon they were heading back and Rebekah saw a snake.
“It is a cottonmouth” said Blacknight
“It is telling us to stay away” said Cynthia
“Hey I'll race you to the tent”said Ruth
“Ya right”said Rebekah running towards the tent it was a tie. That night they made a fire and ate potato surprise and roasted apple pie.
They had a great night and slept like a rock. when Ruth woke up she
saw a huge raccoon in the tent eating the leftover pie when he saw Ruth he skedaddled out of there. When everybody else woke up they all had a good laugh.
Chapter 9:The Robbery
It was a fine day in horseville pretty much everybody was lazing around except for the royal family. They were talking about a recent robbery that had happened in the palace. The only people that were being told was the Knights family,the maids, and the guards. The guards knew everything about half of the robbers and had seen there every move because they had stolen from the palace before. So they thought that there was another group. Somehow they had gotten in to the palace and stolen a little bit of furniture which was very valuable
furniture. So they jailed half of the robbers (they did not know were the other half was). The next night they found the other half of the gang, what the gang had done was pretend to be towns horses coming to see the royal family and had pocketed some small things such as jewelry and hid behind the furniture until night time then they sent one half of the gang of to distract the guards while the other half carried some furniture out of they fire escape.
So the king and Queen bought some puppies from Cynthia when they were old enough to leave their parents and they grew up to be good,strong. and fierce guard dogs and they never had another robbery again.
Chapter 10
One day at the palace the King and Queen were reading a very important message it was from a palace in England it was about a princess that needed a home because her parents were very sick and her name was Isabelle Daisyhill. She was the twins age so the King took the offer right away. Soon the were on their way to England the palace was being taken care of by a loyal knight.
When they arrived they found out that Isabella was a very shy little girl
and she did not say a word until Petunia started to talk about the guard dogs then she began to talk ask questions about the dogs so fast that Petunia did not have time to answer them.
“I understand that you like dogs”said Petunia when Isabella was finally
finished talking, “Yes I love puppies” said Isabella
“Well Welcome to the family Isabella” said King Arthur
“Thank you”answered Isabella shyly.
When they got home the Knights family hurried out to greet them.
They all had huge smiles on their faces and a present for Isabella it was a girl puppy and she named it Susan after her mother.
