Here is a play that I wrote
Hot News
costumes : Black pants, White shirts,and hair the way you chose.
Props: Papers and pens one per reporter
Cast:
reporter 1 to 9
Boss
secretary
Boss (to reporters): If one of you do not have a hot story by tomorrow you all will lose your jobs.
(reporters grab paper and pens and rush out doors) ( in comes reporter number one)
reporter number 1 : Hot News ! Hot news! The bank has been Robbed!
(Boss to reporter): That was last week. ( in comes number two)
reporter number 2: Hot News! Hot News! The grocer lost one thousand dollars!
Boss: That was last months news. (The next reporter comes rushing in)
reporter number 3: Hot News ! Hot News! The grocer just found his money in his back pocket.
Boss: that was two weeks ago.
reporter 4: Hot News!Hot News! The Farmer on one way lane lost his cow!
Boss that was was last years news.
Reporter 5: Hot News! Hot News! The Farmer found his cow visiting her cousin!
Boss that was January's news
reporter 6: Hot News!Hot News! The robbers have been caught!
Boss: That was Sundays news.
Reporter 7:Hot News! Hot News! The Farmer ordered three pounds of chicken!
Boss: that was two years news.
Reporter 8: Hot News!Hot News! The Farmer got three cows instead.
Boss: That was last January's news.
Reporter 9: Hot News! Hot News the building next door just blew up.
